The main HubSpot updates at INBOUND 24

Breeze - HubSpot's baked-in AI has had a major upgrade

This is HubSpot's platform-wide AI Agent and is baked into the entire HubSpot platform. It can perform multi-step tasks with contextual memory and remove the mundane activities from your day. Absolute game changer.

Meet the Breeze agents inside HubSpot:

  • Breeze Social Media Agent analyzes your performance, company details, audience, industry, and market trends to develop breakthrough social content.
  • Breeze Prospecting Agent researches and executes personalized outreach strategies for prospects in your CRM, to help you build more qualified pipeline.
  • Breeze Customer Agent uses info from your knowledge base, website, and blog to quickly respond to customers 24/7/365.

UPDATE: Valerie has written a more comprehensive rundown of Breeze.

We aren't going to be using AI Agents, we're going to be making our own

Besides the usual dad jokes, Dharmesh Shah did the grand launch of Agent.ai and demonstrated just how easy it's going to be for us all to build our own AI Agents.

Not sure what an Agent is? Think of it as an AI Assistant (like ChatGPT) that can perform a series of consecutive tasks and actions with contextual memory and understanding built-in. And once you set it up it's automated.

200+ HubSpot product updates that make it easy, fast and unified

This was something threaded through all of the opening keynote talks and all of Partner Day... Every HubSpot product update (and there were over 200 announced) is helping to make the platform easy to use, fast to bring value, and with unified data and tools.

Key learnings and takeaways from INBOUND 24

HubSpot Partner Day 2024 debrief

The day before INBOUND is Partner Day. This is where the HubSpot Solutions and App Partners get to meet up and connect, and hear learnings from HubSpot. There are some great talks throughout the day, exclusively angled at Partner from across the HubSpot ecosystem (people building apps, agencies delivering services for customers, and so on).

Something else that's great about it is getting to meet up with people you only previously have seen over a video call. All over the place, people have huge smiles on their faces and saying, 'It's so great to finally actually meet you!'

As I write this now, it's the middle of the afternoon and we've got a break between a couple of talks. So far, I've met 7 people in the flesh who I've been having regular video calls with for a long time.

The day's main themes surrounded how HubSpot and their partners can best support customers with:

  • AI adoption and change management.
  • Data health, centralisation and management.
  • Content and marketing strategy changes in the age of Gen AI.

Then it was on to the main INBOUND conference...

INBOUND 24 daily debriefs

Day 1

The conference opened with the HubSpot keynotes:

  1. Yamini Rangan, HubSpot CEO, set the scene by laying out the lay of the land in the world of digital sales, marketing and customer service. Similar to plenty of the things we've been discussing over the past few months on our blog.
  2. Andrew Pitre, VP of Product, gave a rundown of the leading new features amongst the 200+ product releases.
  3. Dharmesh Shah, co-founder and CTO, delivered a public launch of his latest venture agent.ai alongside what was essentially a TED-talk on what is the future of AI agents.
