If you've ever thought about creating a YouTube channel for your business, seeing countless...
As we continue to grow at Digital 22, so does our team. Enter our five new additions. They’re joining us here (some more recent than others, I’ll admit) because they share our ethos, excitement and passion for inbound.
Say hello to Jack, Becca, Tom, Sam and Dave.
Jack C - Content Marketer
Jack is our newest Content Marketer and he’s responsible for creating relevant and engaging content for our clients. Whether it’s writing website copy, blogs or downloads, he’s going to provide some top-tier content. Although I'll admit, he’s been here a while now and he’s practically part of the furniture.
He’s worked in marketing for around two years and was a press assistant at a local theatre. Before that, he was an English Literature & Creative Writing student at Lancaster University.
When he’s not proofing my blogs or rustling up an eBook, you can find him writing articles for music magazines, watering his jungle of plants and watching back-to-back Bon Appetit videos on YouTube. He’s also pretty nifty in the kitchen with his culinary delights ranging from ramen to sourdough bread.
Becca - Finance Manager
Becca is a seasoned professional when it comes to all things finance. She’s dealt with all aspects of it. So much so, she worked her way up from an apprentice to a member of the senior management team at a previous company.
Her role here is setting up new clients on our invoice system, paying staff (when’s payday again?), working on a budget, managing expenses and all things D22 finances. She also dabbles in some project work too, helping to make sure the team is on track and as efficient as possible.
When she’s not in a spreadsheet, she enjoys spending time with her little girl, having fun days out that include the whole family. Mrs Hinch has her hooked on cleaning tips and she’s now got more Zoflora than she can handle.
She told me that she really doesn’t have many exciting interests - but I beg to differ. She loves watching Formula 1 which often takes over her entire weekend when it’s on. It annoys her husband but I think she can steer him around to love it just as much.
Tom C - Social Media Marketer
Now, for legal reasons, I must only refer to our latest Tom as Thomas III. He’s not only our newest Tom but he’s the newest Social Media Marketer in the squad.
As well as planning and executing long-term social media strategy, he also helps clients with the day-to-day management of their social media accounts.
He’s spent the last four years as a Digital Marketing Executive with a passion for social media. He’s worked for a broad range of clients in industries such as health, education, B2B, B2C and more. He’s got all your social needs sorted.
Outside of work, he’s a guitar man. He’s also an avid gig-goer and loves a night at the theatre.
Sam Wright - Strategist
Sam is our newest Inbound Strategist and is responsible for account management, client communication and effective campaign strategy. Now, don't get Sam confused with our other strategist Sam. Samception. Sam².
He works alongside specialist teams to deliver fantastic results for many different businesses - all sizes and sectors.
He studied marketing at university and loved the way it enabled him to blend his creative talents with the business world. He’s a through-and-through Northerner and after a small stint on the south coast after graduation, that confirmed it.
When he’s not creating compelling inbound marketing campaigns, you can probably find him strumming a tune on his guitar (maybe he should start a band with Tom?). He wanted me to let you know he’s no Hendrix, however.
Walking is another pastime of Sam’s but only if beer is on the cards outside a nice country pub.
Dave - Lead Web Designer
AKA Dave the designing machine. He's got over 10 years of design agency experience under his belt and his creative background has given him the opportunity to work on clients such as Co-op, Timberland and the NHS.
He’s our brand spanking new Lead Web Designer, bringing some creative flair to our current arsenal. His focus lies within UX designing, helping to create user-friendly web experiences for our clients and their customers.
When he’s not creating fantastically intuitive web designs, he’s walking his dog Charlie and watching movies. Dave also has a stash of vintage transformers from the 80s. When I say stash, I mean a whole glass case full.
Now if you want to join our team and you’re not called Tom or Sam, get in touch! (I’m joking, of course, because we want our team to be filled with enthusiastic and friendly individuals, even if we do need to implement some form of nicknaming system).
Want to see where we work?
Our wonderful Digital 22 team is based in Clitheroe, which is a quaint little town in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. Our office is located in Holmes Mill, a listed and renovated cotton mill steeped in history.
We're right next to the renowned Bowland Brewery, a supermarket that sells local produce and plenty of delis perfect for a dinner time snack. It's also got a pretty swanky cinema that has sofas, which we quite often visit for some movie magic and a mojito after work.
We moved to our new office space because here we can perfectly balance work and play in 5,000 sq ft of purpose-built space. With over 100 different places to work, you can perch at an office desk, get cosy on a beanbag or hang out in the breakout area.
But it's not just about work. We've also got an industrial-sized beer fridge, a custom pool table kitted out in D22 colours and more consoles than CEX. If you’re game to work with us and are passionate about marketing, we might just have the job for you.
Fancy joining the D22 team?
We have no plans to slow down our growth so we're always looking out for talented, hardworking and upbeat people to join our team. From Content Marketers to Strategists and SEO experts, check out our vacancies on our careers page below.
