There’s no shying away from the fact that your written content is always going to be important....
The pay-per-click (PPC) advertising model continues to grow in popularity. It’s now an integral piece of the inbound marketing puzzle as it offers options that you simply can’t achieve from any other method of online marketing. Remarketing, geo-targeting, instant results… yep, it’s pretty important.
Like most things in life, the more effort you put in, the more you will get out. PPC is no different where, hopefully, it’ll result in increased traffic, leads and conversions. Obviously, you can’t just turn on a PPC campaign and expect results. Somebody needs to steer the ship and for us at Digital 22, that man is Chris Ellis, our PPC Marketer.
In this episode of the Inbound After Hours podcast, Mark sits down with Chris, who brings over 10 years’ experience in PPC, to chat about how he helps clients supplement their inbound marketing campaigns with paid search. He’s also thrown in some really useful tips on how to get started that are really helpful.
You’ll hear how he manages to help clients get the most out of their advertising while limiting their spend. He’s also explained why you should use platforms like Google, Bing, Facebook and Instagram.
There’s some good stuff on why paid search is well worth doing, even with the rise of other channels. Chris also talks about the importance of the AdRoll platform and how to use it to fuel business growth. You can find the full transcript of this episode below.
Once you’ve listened to this episode, you should check out AdRoll’s Head of SMB Account Management, Johanna Eichhorst, at our Love Inbound 2019 event. Some of the topics she touched on included industry trends, key challenges and more. You can watch her talk here to get loads more helpful insights. (We also had speakers from HubSpot, Vidyard and others at the event).
