Google Mobile Friendly Update In May 2016 Has HAPPENED

A couple of months ago, Google announced they were going to release a new mobile friendly update in May. And in typical-Google fashion, it has been quietly announced, this morning, they have finished rolling out the update.


 

 

Since last year, Google has been saying they are working to make the web more mobile friendly and a better search engine for its users. It’s a growing trend that more online users are using mobile devices to access the internet and Google is working to improve online search for mobiles.

When Google announced they were making a new mobile friendly update in May, they said it would increase “the effect of the ranking signal” to help online users find sites that are relevant and mobile friendly.  

It’s still too early to say if the new update has made any dramatic changes. But if your site is mobile friendly, you might see an improvement in your rankings.

It is a growing trend that people are using their mobiles to search the web, and this is a trend that will continue to grow.
