On the 27th of February 2019, we hosted LOVE INBOUND 2019 at Holmes Mill, Clitheroe. The event gave lovers of inbound marketing the chance to hear from leading experts and network with others working in the industry.
We had some amazing feedback from attendees and speakers, so we’ve wasted no time in thinking about making the next edition of LOVE INBOUND even better than the first. Here’s what you missed if you couldn’t make it and why it’s a marketing conference you really need to attend.
LOVE INBOUND 2019: A recap
At LOVE INBOUND 2019, we heard from some of the industry’s leading voices. For example, Terrance Kwok from Vidyard talked about the importance of video and where marketers should be using it.
He demonstrated how to make video a key part of your existing sales and marketing strategy and the tools you need to get started right now. Terrance mentioned that one-third of all time spent online is watching video. So it’s easy to see why our attendees were interested in what he had to say.
We couldn’t really host an inbound marketing event without inviting HubSpot. We heard from Principal II Channel Consultant Robbie McFarlane who gave insight into the inbound marketing Flywheel that HubSpot unveiled at their own marketing conference - INBOUND - in Boston last year.
His talk gave actionable tips on what you can do at each stage and how focusing on the customer can lead to positive results. One of the ideas he covered was collecting more feedback from customers to help you shape future experiences.
This is something we actioned straight away, collecting feedback from LOVE INBOUND attendees so that we can ensure the 2020 edition is even better. Here are just some of the comments we received.
“Informative and a must for next year. Took away multiple things to put in practice for the year.”
“Fantastic, informative and fun event which really inspired us to make positive digital changes to our processes for the future. Highly recommend!”
“The quality of speakers was above and beyond my expectations. Each one gave at least one takeaway I was eager to start implementing into our own marketing strategy."
Why you should attend LOVE INBOUND 2020
The speakers
We’re still putting the line-up together for LOVE INBOUND 2020, but rest assured attendees will hear from some of the industry’s leading voices. We’ll announce speakers nearer the time but we make sure that each of them offer unique and valuable insight.
It isn’t just inbound marketing focused talks either. Last year, we heard from motivational speaker Luke Staton and our very own Mark Byrne on stepping out of your comfort zone.
The networking
The day begins with a breakfast networking session that everyone takes part in. It’s an opportunity to chat with the speakers and other attendees about all things inbound. You never know who you’ll strike up a conversation with over a brew and bacon butty.
You’ll have another chance to introduce yourself to new people over the delicious lunch that’s provided.
The price of the ticket
To hear from leading industry speakers at an event like this, you might be worried about the cost of the ticket. We’re thrilled to be able to offer tickets to our event completely free of charge.
You’ll also receive a free breakfast, lunch and drinks once the event has concluded. It’ll be difficult to find the same at any other marketing conference.
The bacon butties and free bar
Did we mention the delicious breakfast and free drinks that are available at the event? It’s hosted at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe - a fantastic beer and food hall that provides a delicious selection of foods that cater to all dietary requirements. Last year, we enjoyed a wonderful buffet that had something for everyone.
