Events can be a great way to avoid the day to day and accelerate your learning to make sure you're at the top of your game. Let's face it, personal development in a work setting is often not the main priority, so events like these allow you to prioritise that. 
This was the 4th LOVE INBOUND event and we had our usual day of helpful learning and fun times.

This year, some standout memories for me were:

• I learnt a new word - autocoprophagia. It means when animals eat their own poo. Why is that relevant?  Well, this is relevant to how we operate as marketers. Andrew's talk was amazing - definitely watch this.  
• Luke Staton taking things to all new levels of motivational speaking by getting a whole room of British strangers to join in an impromptu sing-a-long - I have no idea how he does it. One attendee described him as "a true master of his craft" and I have to agree. 
• Community is super important. I knew that anyway, and I'm sure you do too, but if you want to know how to get started and the real foundations of what a community should offer, give Danny Denhard's talk a watch.

And after three years of a traditional Lancashire pie and peas, switching to the build-your-own burger bar was definitely the right choice.
