INBOUND 2020: HubSpot's Sales Hub becomes more enterprise-focused with new features

2 mins read

As expected, HubSpot introduced some new updates and features during the first-ever virtual INBOUND conference last week to help folks with the challenges brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

To help businesses thrive in the post-pandemic world, HubSpot's new announcements help to unify sales, service and marketing efforts to improve the customer experience. One of the new features to help in the new economic environment is the Sales Hub Enterprise.

What does Sales Hub Enterprise include?

It's an enterprise sales CRM which features custom objects, advanced permissions and more sophisticated reporting than ever before. It also includes enhanced sales acceleration tools as well as configure-price-quote functionality.

This tool is focused on bringing a new end-to-end approach that addresses both the needs of salespeople and also system management and admins.

You have a unique sales process but some platforms can be pretty complicated or if your sales team needs something super easy to use but what they have is a little too basic. With Sales Hub Enterprise, you don't have the age-old problem of choosing a platform that's either easy or powerful as it caters to both.

Here's a look at the features that come with Sales Hub Enterprise.

Sales Hub Enterprise features

Custom Objects

Keep track of business-specific information. You can sort, automate and report on data associated with them in HubSpot.

1:1 Video

Using the Vidyard GoVideo browser extension, sales teams can personalise outreach to record themselves and their screens. It's then easy to add them to emails and straight to the contact record.

Sales Analytics

Analysis can finally reach the next level. With HubSpot's in-depth collection of customisable reports, you can easily explore powerful insights, sales activities, outcomes and even deal change history.

Forecasting

Currently in beta, the Forecasting feature lets you spend more time doing strategy work and less time knee-deep in spreadsheets. As all sales data is integrated inside HubSpot, you'll have visibility and the insight you need for all your forecasting needs.

Proposals

Another feature currently in beta, you can send attention-grabbing proposals to seal all-important deals. Your team can also tweak how the quotes and proposals look and feel right through HubSpot.

Advanced Permissions

Using this feature, you can grant or restrict access to relevant information based in team, role, individual and user so you have the perfect balance between empowerment and control so nothing falls into the wrong hands.

Sales Engagement tools

Connecting with prospects doesn't need to be challenging any more. To maximise the efficiency of your team's outreach, they can use:

  • Documents
  • Canned snippets
  • Templates
  • Sequences
  • Tasks
  • Email scheduling
  • And more

Product Library

Need to manage product information like colour, SKU and price? You can build a robust product library using custom properties and then tie them into deals and quotes to analyse their performance.

And that's just scratching the surface. Sales Hub Enterprise also features plenty of useful features enterprise business will find handy, such as:

  • Calling
  • Meeting
  • Team email
  • Phone support
  • Multiple deal pipelines
  • Smart send times
  • Conversation routing
  • Email tracking and notifications
  • Smart notifications

But what do all these new Sales Hub Enterprise features mean?

Having all of these available in Sales Hub Enterprise natively means you can do everything you need to do in one tool without jumbling together different platforms to get what works for your team.

These features let you use these powerful features to continue growing into larger organisations using HubSpot.

With these new announcements, you no longer need to spend time updating your CRM records and, as Chief Product Officer, Chris O'Donnell described during INBOUND, you can finally move away from bloated CRM software.

Rather than just having the database and paying for a bunch of things on top, Sales Hub Enterprise features the core CRM, beneficial sales acceleration tools, full sets of reporting and loads more so you can run your entire sales process, end-to-end, on HubSpot.
